Worried that You Can’t Afford College? Grants and Financial Aid are Available!

There are a number of programs that help students get the money they need to enroll in college.  Federal programs include the Pell Grant, work study, and student loans.  There are also many grants and scholarships just for Maryland students.  Learn more about these programs:

To get all the funding you might be eligible for, the first step is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Complete the form as soon as you’ve filed your taxes for the year – before March 1 if you can!

Check with all the colleges you are considering applying to for their financial aid requirements and deadlines.  They may have supplemental forms you need to complete, and can help answer all of your questions.
